Legionella Risk Review Template
A structured legionella risk review for the water systems in your premises. It captures an overview of the system, records hot and cold water temperatures at outlets and tanks, works through risk-indicator checks for outlets, tanks and pipework, and summarises the risks identified, the current controls and any further action required.
The duty to assess and control the risk from legionella comes from the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and COSHH, with the detail in the HSE Approved Code of Practice L8 and HSG274. This review gives you a practical way to meet that duty and supports the operational control requirements of ISO 45001.

What's Included in this Legionella Risk Review
The form works methodically through the parts of the water system:
- Header and system overview - location, completed by, date and a description of the water system
- Outlet checks - outlet locations with cold and hot water temperatures and risk-indicator questions
