Using the Register
Start with the risk factors most relevant to your consumers and services, adding examples and the triggers and signs staff should look out for, and rate how significant each is for your business. Then complete the response guidance so staff know what to do when a risk factor is identified. The register notes that its list is not definitive, so review and update it as your services and consumers change.
The completed register can be used to brief customer-facing staff, alongside the CC-CV1 Code of Conduct for Vulnerable Consumers.
