Each hazard includes an inherent risk rating ranging from Moderate to Substantial, and a comprehensive listing of applicable control measures covering areas such as;
- Machine guarding, lock-off/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and PUWER inspection records
- Deflector guards, eye protection and bystander screens for ejection risks
- Isolation of all energy sources before maintenance; permit-to-work where LOTO is not practicable
- Pre-use inspections, planned preventive maintenance and correct tooling selection
- Noise and vibration risk assessments, low-vibration equipment selection and health surveillance
- Operator training records, supervised operation periods and safe systems of work
