Welder Qualification Template
A welder qualification matrix that maps each welder against the weld procedure specifications (WPS) they are approved for, with approval status and retest dates, plus visual inspection and weld repair approvals. One sheet shows who can weld what, and until when.
For structural steelwork to BS EN 1090, welders must be qualified to the relevant weld procedures and their approvals kept current. A quality management system to ISO 9001 also expects people doing the work to be competent (clause 7.1). This record evidences both.
