Declaration of Performance Template
A ready-to-complete Declaration of Performance (DoP) for structural steelwork components CE or UKCA marked to BS EN 1090. It sets out the manufacturer details, intended use, system of assessment and the declared performance against each essential characteristic in one document.
Under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR 305/2011) and BS EN 1090-1, a manufacturer placing load-bearing structural steel on the market must draw up a declaration of performance and apply CE or UKCA marking. This template gives you that declaration in the required form, ready to tailor to your product and factory production control certificate.

Who Needs a Declaration of Performance?
Any fabricator or steelwork contractor that manufactures and CE or UKCA marks structural steel components for load-bearing use. If you run a factory production control system to BS EN 1090 and place structural steelwork on the market, a declaration of performance is a legal requirement for each product.
