This risk assessment covers the risks and subsequent controls which should be considered when considering the Legionella risk within premises or with any water system.

This example can be used for the review and monitoring of water systems to ensure no significant legionella risks identified and covers;

• Use of water supply within the building, possible risk of legionella bacteria which can be fatal
• Risk of legionella build up in water storage tanks
• Risk of legionella from infrequently used outlets, dead legs or shower heads
