These are written by people who assess management systems for a living, so they are aimed at what actually gets picked up rather than at what sounds thorough.

• The duty - what is required of an employer on that subject, in plain terms
• What goes wrong - the failures that come up again and again, and why they happen
• Practical control - what a proportionate, workable arrangement looks like for a small or mid-sized business
• The paperwork that proves it - the risk assessments, forms, registers and procedures that cover the topic, and where to find them

• Run a toolbox talk - each issue is a ready-made subject with the content already assembled
