Environmental Policy outlines commitment to monitoring and reducing the environmental impact of operations, increasing employee environmental awareness and training, preventing pollution, being a good neighbour, recycling materials, minimising waste and complying with all planning and legislative requirements.

This policy is a requirement for ISO 14001:2015 compliance and can be edited to suit but care should be taken when amending if this policy is required for ISO 14001 compliance as there are some elements that the standard requires the policy to cover;

• Commitment to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution
• Commitment to meet all compliance obligations
• Continual improvement of environmental management systems and environmental performance

Like all other policies this policy should be retained as documented information, filed correctly and made available to all interested parties.
