This register can be used to document and then review an overview of the key risks and opportunities. Simple and effective template for demonstrating compliance with clause 6.1 while also completing a useful and simple review of risks and opportunities.

The register is split into 2 sections;

Section 1 -  SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats) Analysis to help with review and identification of relevant risks and opportunities. SWOT analysis includes some guidance and a listing of the internal and external factors that can have an impact on achieving company objectives that should be taken into account.

Section 2 - Risk Register which can be used to document an overview of the key risks faced by the organisation and review of the controls currently in place to mitigate the risks. Risks register used risk rating system to allow a 'Risk Rating', 'Controls Currently in place' and 'Residual Risk Rating' to be logged for each risk.

Version 2 of this form includes an internal/external factors table in addition to PESTLE considerations. There is also a review of interested parties and stakeholders and objectives table.
