Most clients can't believe how much it is possible to do with this one day of support - work that might have been days of consultancy time a few years ago is now covered in a few hours!
Further guidance on setting up a management system:
Every document used on this service is on the shelf. Take the ISO toolkit for your standards and do the work in your own time, and Document Preparation will put your company name and logo on the whole set.
Enhanced IMS Setup
Buying the documents is the easy part. What follows is the part people underestimate - putting your company name on every file, working out which documents you actually need, writing your business into the manual, and filling in the registers that the rest of the system hangs off. It is not difficult work. It is long work, and it is usually the reason a management system sits half finished for a year.
A day of our remote support does that job. You send us your details and whatever documentation you already have, and we send back a management system with your name on it, tailored to what you do, with the manual written and the registers completed.
What You Get
For the day:
- The file set rebranded - your company name, your logo and your document properties applied across every file in the toolkit, not just the front pages
- The IMS manual tailored - your scope of registration, your exclusions and the reasons for them, your company profile, your responsibilities filled in against real names
- The registers completed - the document register, business continuity, opportunities and risks, and the rest of the IMS register set, populated with your information
- Documents you do not need taken out - and every reference to them chased out of the documents that remain, so nothing points at a file you have not got
- A written record of what was done - including the assumptions we made and the questions only you can answer, so you can see exactly what is finished and what still needs your input
How Much One Day Covers
A full setup, for most small and medium organisations. We do not cap it at a number of documents. What moves the time is the scope - several sites, a wide range of activities, four or more standards, or a large body of existing paperwork to work in. The more context and information you give us, the better what we prepare will be. We work through as much as the time allows, in the order that matters most to you.
How the Work Gets Done
We use our own AI tooling to do the mechanical part of document preparation, and a consultant checks the output before it reaches you. That is worth saying plainly, because it is the reason a day of support now produces far more finished documentation than it used to, at the same price it always was.
What the tooling does is the donkey work - applying your name, logo and properties across a large file set, moving your existing content into the alphaZ templates, cross-referencing registers against one another, and running the checks that catch a document referring to something that is no longer there. That work used to eat most of a consultant's day and none of it needed a consultant's judgement.
What it does not do is invent your management system. The templates are ours, developed over 25 years of real audits and real assessments, and they are not AI generated. What goes into them comes from your documents, your answers and a consultant's judgement. Nothing is made up to fill a gap. Where something is missing, we tell you it is missing rather than writing something plausible in the space.
Why a Day Goes This Far
Anyone can rent the same AI we use. What they cannot rent is what we point it at.
Behind this service is a document library built over 25 years - manuals, procedures, policies, registers, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, audit checklists and forms, covering every standard we work to and most situations a management system runs into. Each one has been through real audits, and corrected where an assessor pushed back. That is the part that took 25 years, and it is the part that cannot be generated.
Our tooling applies that library to your business. A general purpose AI, pointed at the same job, has nothing to apply, so it writes something that reads well and describes a company that does not exist.
What We Need From You
- Your company details and your logo
- Which standards you are working to, and which of them you actually intend to certify
- A short description of what your business does and where it does it
- Any documentation you already have, in whatever state it is in
- The names of the people who hold responsibility, if you want the manual completed rather than left for you to fill in
We send a short details sheet that asks for all of this in one go.
Other Things Remote Support Covers
Most organisations setting up a system already have something - a folder of risk assessments, a pile of COSHH sheets, a legal register somebody started. None of it is wasted. We work your existing content into the new system rather than replacing it, and where it needs reformatting into the alphaZ templates that is part of the same job.
A support day does not have to be spent on a full setup. The same day can be pointed at any one of these instead, and it is the same purchase either way:
- IMS manual and registers - the manual written around your business, and the document, continuity, risk and training registers completed with your information
- Risk assessment reformatting and the hazard register - your existing assessments moved into one branded format with consistent scoring, and a hazard register that indexes them
- COSHH assessments - existing COSHH reworked, or proper assessments built from your manufacturers' safety data sheets
- Legal register - legislation selected for your sector and activities, with your compliance recorded against each item and a written summary drawn from it
- Environmental registers and aspects assessment - your aspects and impacts scored for significance, with the life cycle review and a carbon management plan alongside
- Information security risk and treatment plan - your information assets, the risks against them, what you are doing about each, and the Statement of Applicability drawn from that work
- Business risk assessments - organisational risk written around what would actually hurt the business, not the person doing the task
- Company forms, policies and an HR reset - your policy set, staff handbook and HR forms replaced with one coherent branded set
- Full clause conversion - an existing ISO clause-based management system reviewed and rebuilt around your business processes, with clause correlation documents supplied for the auditors
- Constructionline, SSIP and CAS applications - your pre-qualification questionnaire completed and each answer pointed at a document that exists and says the right thing
The time can also be allocated to things that are not document preparation at all - training, internal audits, a gap analysis, or simply working through a problem on a call. Remote Support - Project is just a block of time allocated to helping you update and prepare management systems. What makes it possible for us to achieve so much in the time available is our approach using our vast library of resources and effective AI agents.
Every one of these services is listed on the ISO consultancy support page, along with how a support day works and what is covered by a subscription.
