Email update service to keep up to date and maintain ISO compliance

alphaZ OUT

issued quarterly alphaZ-OUT provides a legal update service (UK legislation) including environmental and health and safety law updates. Access to legal updates and demonstrating legal compliance is a requirement for a number of ISO standards and this service will ensure you are aware of current, updated and pending legislation and can also be used to evidence that have a source for updates. The update service also includes updates relating to all the main ISO management system standards and standards required for UKCA / CE marking and other relevant compliance schemes.

As well as updated UK legislation the publication also includes an overview of other relevant international legislation and pending legislation, articles about trends and developments from the world of ISO auditing and certification and a listing of enforcement action taken by the main enforcement agencies including the HSE, ICO and EHRS.

The publication is issued as a downloadable pdf file so this can be saved to your legislation folder and retained as evidence that receiving updates. The legal updates are all listed in a simple table format to ensure they can be easily be copied / pasted into your current legal register. alphaZ Documents updates

This email update service includes a monthly email summarising all changes and updates to alphaZ documents.

As well as the monthly summary email additional notifications are issued in response to any significant changes such as an updated ISO standard requirement or when a key ISO standard is reissued or updated.

Health and Safety update service

This email update service includes a monthly Health and Safety update which includes guidance on a specific H&S topic which can be used as the basis for ongoing staff awareness training.

.As well as the monthly H&S update email additional notifications are issued in response to any significant change in H&S law or in response to any incident which could have implications on effective H&S management.

Business Health and Compliance update

Our Health and Safety updates have always had a natural home, but plenty of important topics never fitted there: environmental compliance, information security developments, wider business risk. Business Health and Compliance is the monthly update service that gives those topics a home of their own, running alongside the H&S updates and written for the same people: quality managers, consultants, business owners and auditors.

Like the H&S updates it provides guidance as well as practical solutions: what the risk is, why it matters, and the controls that keep it in check, including links to resources you can use to develop those controls. Topics include information security, data protection and privacy, phishing and social engineering, environmental compliance and sustainability, fraud and financial crime, modern slavery and supply chain, and the use of AI.

Each update is emailed and saved as a PDF in the Update Service folder, ready to read, share with colleagues or use as the basis for a short briefing. This update is opt-in: tick the Business Health and Compliance preference on your profile, using the preferences link in any update service email, and it then arrives automatically each month.
