Waste Transfer Note Template
A single-page waste transfer note for recording the transfer of waste from the person handing it over (the transferor) to the carrier or site receiving it (the transferee). One completed note per transfer gives you a clear, signed record of what waste moved, where it went and who took responsibility for it.
The duty of care in section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 requires anyone who produces, carries or receives controlled waste to keep a written transfer note. This form gives you a practical, repeatable way to meet that duty, and slots straight into an environmental management system aligned with ISO 14001.
