Update Details: A new Example Business Risk Assessments category has been added to alphaZ documents, with 32 example business risk assessment examples now available for download.
What the Business Risk Assessment Examples Cover
The examples span a broad range of organisational risks, from fraud, financial crime and supply chain disruption to information security, data protection, business continuity and the use of artificial intelligence. Each one is a sample completed risk assessment, prepared and reviewed by experienced ISO management system consultants, that you can use as a starting point for your own.
Every example sets out the risks and their causes, an inherent (initial) risk rating, practical controls and mitigations, and a residual risk rating once those controls are in place. They support the risks and opportunities requirements (clause 6.1) of the ISO management system standards and give you a structured, consistent foundation whether you are formalising risk management for the first time or strengthening an established process.
These Business Risk Assessments differ from the existing Risk Assessments category in that they have been prepared using the F-Q36 General Risk Assessment form which doesn't specifically include consideration of hazards unlike the F-HS20 General Risk Assessment form which is specifically designed for the completion of Health & Safety Risk Assessments.
The examples are supplied in MS Word and you can browse the full set in the new category below.
