F-IMS62 Carbon Management Plan

Update Details: New addition to the alphaZ document library. F-IMS62 Carbon Management Plan is a Microsoft Word template for documenting an organisation's approach to measuring, reporting and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, aligned with ISO 14001:2026.

F-IMS62 Carbon Management Plan

A structured Word document that sets out an organisation's carbon position in a single, defensible reporting deliverable. The plan covers scope and applicability, methodology, glossary, the carbon emissions data dashboard, and the reduction targets and actions section.

The plan is positioned as an optional companion to the wider ISO 14001:2026 environmental management system. Organisations meeting ISO 14001:2026 without a formal carbon plan remain fully compliant; F-IMS62 supports those wanting to go further on carbon performance and have something prepared when dealing with procurement carbon disclosure requests and supply chain net zero questionnaires.

Aligned with ISO 14001:2026

F-IMS62 supports the 2026 standard's emphasis on climate change as one of the environmental conditions organisations must consider under clause 4.1, and provides the structured reporting framework that procurement and supply chain teams increasingly expect. Documented methodology, scope coverage and a reduction trajectory in one place, ready to share or attach to a tender response.

A fully populated worked example version is included with an alphaZ subscription, with embedded scope and category charts, baseline comparison and a worked Net Zero trajectory.

Pairs with ER34 Environmental Performance Register

F-IMS62 is designed to pair with the companion ER34 Environmental Performance Register. ER34 holds the activity data and calculations; F-IMS62 presents the narrative, targets and reporting. Once a year the four dashboard charts from the ER34 Report sheet can be copy-pasted either as static images or as embedded excel objects into F-IMS62 and the document can then be exported to PDF. The annual workflow is approximately ten minutes once the data is logged. The sample data version of this form includes embedded excel objects which include the source data tables and all the numeric totals can be edited directly in the Word file.
