New Documents Available
A range of new files have now been added and updated on alphaZ Documents
Forms
Files have been added so they can exist as singular documents and are easy to retrieve or submit to online pre-qualification schemes.
These added include:
- F-Q80, F-Q81 Site Worker Induction Forms- induction evidence is asked for by various SSIP schemes to facilitate health and safety management and show that workers are aware of the main site risks. These files can be implemented as part of an ISO 45001 management system.
- F-Q82, F-Q83, F-Q84 - Ladder Register and Forms, these are to be used in workplaces that frequently use ladders and need to manage their maintenance. These forms exist as a tool for managing equipment and can strengthen compliance to ISO 45001 - as they can show hazard elimination and risk controls.
Policies
A number of new policy templates have been added out of a need for programmes such as Constructionline, ISO 37001 and carbon management standards.
- P-106 Mental Health and Wellbeing Policy - shows corporate awareness on the subject and can be implemented into a health and safety management system
- P-107 Money Laundering Policy - new policy addressing this topic and showing adequate controls in place
- P-108 Hospitality and Gifts Policy - policy and procedures regarding the acceptance of hospitality and gits - can help as a starting point for the introduction of an anti-bribery management system such as ISO 37001.
- P-109 Hybrid Working Policy - New policy to address the need for hybrid working arrangements and a growing trend - also considers information security aspects and conforms to ISO 27001
- P-110 Net Zero Policy - Government schemes such as Constructionline have now started asking for this - we believe its likely that others will soon follow suit in line with the shift towards environmental awareness from companies
- P-111 Biodiversity Policy - New unique policy on encouraging and supporting biodiversity within a company - can be adopted as part of an ISO 14001 management system
- P-112 Remote Working Policy - Similar to P-109, this policy outlines the rules and arrangements for remote working, the policy can be implemented as part of ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 management systems
Procedures
It can often be beneficial to have singular procedure documents in place - as in cases of non-conformance during audits they can quickly be implemented - they also can be asked for a individual uploads for schemes such as constructionline or SSIP.
Some of our new procedures added include:
- PP-1-17 Consumer Vulnerability- this file covers consumer vulnerability, identifying vulnerable consumers and vulnerable consumer controls, can assist with compliance to the BS 18477 and ISO 22458 standards.
- PP-1-18 Purchasing and Outsourced Services - arrangements and controls in place for managing outsourced services including supplier appraisal and fraudulent items - can assist when outsourcing products that require UKCA marking
- PP-7-19 Asbestos - covers procedures and controls in place for workers coming into contact with asbestos
Welding
We have added a number of new documents surrounding the topic of welding. In addition to the new toolkit, we have added:
- TT-4-02 BS EN 1090 Compliance/ FPC - training talk for staff on BS EN1090
- GG-4-02 BS EN 1090 Compliance / FPC - general guidance on BS EN1090
- TT-7-18 Welding-Safety - training talk for welding safety practice
- GG-7-18 Welding Safety - features risks involved and controls in place for managing welding safety
- RA-HS06 Welding - Risk assessment for welding activities
- A-C P49 Factory Production Control - Audit checklist for an FPC system , use to check the effectiveness of the system and its implementation, can also be used for staff awareness
