The Drivers Toolkit features key files to support managing drivers within your business.
This toolkit includes all the files you will need to effectively manage your drivers and company vehicles they use.
Document preparation, included in the alphaZ subscription, supplies the files with your company name and logo already added. For help preparing and implementing the management system, see Remote Support.
The Drivers Toolkit combines many files already available on the site into one folder. Several useful files have been added which include Forms, Guidance, Handbooks, Policies and Procedures all in the one place. You can issue key files to individual drivers within your organisation to ensure that they have the correct knowledge and procedures available to operate effectively.

Various forms have been included which can assist with inducting and managing drivers, such as eyesight checks and driver declarations. The forms will also support aspects such as reporting driver collisions, route planning and recording vehicle defects. |
| Handbooks | The drivers handbook provides guidance to staff on all aspects of driving and vehicle management within your organisation. You can issue this handbook to staff to support drivers using vehicles. | |
| IMS1 - Procedures |

There are two IMS1 Sub-procedures included which can be used individually to outline specific procedures. |
| Policies | Two policies are included to help your organisation establish driving standards. | |
| Procedures | A Driving Use Vehicles Policy is included for specific and detailed rules for using company vehicles. |

| Registers | Various registers are included for recording details of vehicles/drivers. The ER2 Staff Training Competency Register can be used to record drivers names, and individual qualifications. Use ER17 Vehicles Register to track details on all vehicles in use/service frequency/MOT dates. Use the ER23 Fuel Emissions Register to track fuel use amongst vehicles. | |

Several risk assessment examples are included which surround the use of vehicles. A broad selection has been included which cover a wide range of activities such as uncoupling, transporting passengers, driving deliveries, vehicles on-site, moving vehicles. These example risk assessments should be used to inform of the risks present with using and positioning vehicles in various scenarios. Please ensure a compenent professional completes any risk assessments for your company. |
